All these types of pillows and other bed linens are initially cool to the touch, but they quickly heat up to match your body temperature. I would not recommend this "NASA" pillow for anyone for anything. Maybe for 10 bucks, but certainly not what they ask for this. I did keep it though. It is "cool" but only for a moment and your flipping it around like any other pillow. also way too soft. BUt, it has been cool enough to get me back to sleep.
